BeadLab Terms of Use

Welcome to BeadLab. These Terms of Use (the "Terms") constitute a legal agreement between you (the "User" or "you") and Freeform Software Studio (the "Studio," "we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of this application. Please read these Terms carefully and make sure you understand and agree to them before using the application.

1. Scope of Use

• BeadLab is a tool for creating bead patterns. You can import images, convert them into bead designs, and edit, save, and export your designs. We may add features such as drawing patterns directly or converting text into bead designs in the future. The specific features available are subject to the actual version of the application.
• You may use designs created with BeadLab for personal or commercial purposes, provided that you comply with applicable laws and have the necessary rights to use the relevant content.
• You may not use the application for illegal activities, interfere with its normal operation through cracking, tampering, reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or similar means, or circumvent in-app purchase or Pro feature restrictions.

2. Data Storage and Processing

• BeadLab currently does not operate its own servers for storing user images, patterns, projects, or backup files. Image processing and pattern creation are performed locally on your device.
• Project data is stored only on your device. We currently do not provide cloud storage or automatic cloud backup. You may use the backup feature provided by the application to save important projects yourself.
• Because data is stored on your device, it may be lost or become inaccessible due to device failure, system-related issues, application deletion, user error, or other factors. We may be unable to recover such data when the loss is not caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

3. User Content and Intellectual Property

• You retain the rights to the content you import, create, or produce using BeadLab, or such rights remain with the respective rights holders.
• You are responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right to use any images, text, and other content you use with BeadLab, and that such use does not infringe any copyright, trademark, portrait, privacy, or other legitimate rights of others. You are responsible for any disputes arising from your use of such content in accordance with applicable laws.
• The intellectual property rights in BeadLab, including its interface design, icons, functional architecture, source code, logo, original text, and other original content, belong to Freeform Software Studio or the respective rights holders.
• BeadLab may include third-party brand names, trademarks, bead color charts, and other related information. The rights to such third-party content belong to their respective rights holders. We do not claim ownership of such third-party intellectual property.
• Without authorization, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, translate, reverse engineer, or otherwise use BeadLab itself in an unauthorized manner, or circumvent in-app purchase or Pro feature restrictions through technical means.

4. Disclaimer

• Designs generated by BeadLab are primarily intended for creative and crafting reference purposes. Due to factors such as the original image, display device, image processing, board size, number of colors, bead brand, and actual crafting environment, the colors and appearance of designs shown in the application may differ from the final physical result.
• We do not guarantee that generated designs will fully meet your expectations or that they will be suitable for specific bead brands or specifications. Please review and confirm the design based on your materials and crafting conditions before making the actual project.

5. Pro and In-App Purchases

• BeadLab offers Pro features, including increased project limits, larger pattern sizes, custom palettes, HD export, and custom watermarks. The specific features, prices, purchase methods, and validity periods are subject to the information displayed in the application and the relevant app store at the time of purchase.
• Pro may be offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewable subscription, as well as a one-time purchase of Lifetime Pro.
• The purchase, renewal, cancellation, payment, refund, and other matters relating to auto-renewable subscriptions are subject to the rules applicable to the relevant app store at the time. Purchases made through Apple's in-app purchase service are subject to Apple's applicable rules.
• Lifetime Pro is a one-time purchase and does not create an ongoing subscription payment obligation. However, "Lifetime" does not mean that BeadLab or the relevant features are guaranteed to operate permanently. If the application is discontinued, removed, or the relevant service is otherwise terminated in accordance with applicable laws, the corresponding benefits may also terminate.
• When your Pro benefits expire, Pro features will no longer be available. Projects you previously created will not be deleted, and the pattern data in those projects will remain. If your existing number of projects exceeds the limit for free users, you may continue to use your existing projects, but you may not create new projects beyond the applicable limit.
• Custom palette data saved in existing projects will not be deleted or modified when Pro expires. However, the related content will no longer be displayed or available after Pro expires. If you regain Pro benefits, you may continue to use the related features.

6. Service Changes, Terms Updates, and Contact

• We may update, optimize, or modify BeadLab based on product operations, technical requirements, security considerations, or applicable laws and regulations, including adding, modifying, suspending, or discontinuing certain features. Due to factors such as devices, operating systems, app stores, network environments, and other circumstances, some features may also become temporarily unavailable or experience operational issues.
• We may modify these Terms based on applicable laws and regulations, operational needs, or changes to the application's features. When the Terms are updated, we will provide notice within the application or on the relevant app store page. Your continued use of BeadLab constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
