BeadLab Privacy Policy

BeadLab is a tool application developed by Freeform Software Studio for creating and editing bead patterns. We take your privacy and the protection of your personal information seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information.

1. How We Collect and Use Your Information

While using BeadLab, we may collect the following types of information:

(1) Information You Provide or Create

The following data is stored only locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers:

• Images you import
• Bead patterns and project data you create, edit, and save
• Custom palettes and other project-related data
• Backup files you create or import

This information is used only to help you create and edit patterns, manage projects, export designs, and back up or restore your projects.

BeadLab currently does not operate its own servers for storing user images, patterns, projects, or backup files. We do not collect, store, or synchronize your images, patterns, projects, or backup files.

(2) Information Automatically Collected by Third-Party SDKs

We use the following third-party services for usage analytics and crash analysis. These services may collect the following types of information:

Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics are not used to collect or upload your images, pattern content, project content, or backup file content.

We do not intentionally record advertising-related events through Firebase Analytics, nor do we intentionally record custom information such as your device language or region.

2. How We Store and Protect Your Information

• Images, patterns, projects, and related data that you create or import in BeadLab are stored entirely on your device. We do not access or store this content.
• We do not upload your data to servers or automatically upload or synchronize your project content in the background.
• You can delete projects and related local data within the application.
• Backup files are saved and managed by you. If you save or share backup files through other file services, cloud storage services, or third-party applications, the relevant data will be handled by those third parties in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
• If your device is damaged, lost, replaced, the application is deleted, or your local data otherwise becomes unrecoverable, we may be unable to restore your data. We therefore recommend that you make backups as needed.
• Third-party SDKs such as Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics process relevant information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

3. How We Share, Transfer, or Publicly Disclose Your Information

We do not share your images, patterns, project data, or backup files with any company, organization, or individual, except in the following circumstances:

1. Necessary technical and usage information may be automatically shared with third-party service providers, such as Google, for usage analytics and crash analysis;
2. Information related to in-app purchases is processed by the app store you use and its payment system in accordance with their applicable rules;
3. When you voluntarily use system sharing, file management, or other third-party services, the content you choose to share may be provided to the relevant third party;
4. When disclosure is required by applicable laws or regulations or requested by a competent authority in accordance with the law;
5. When you have provided your explicit authorization or consent.

We do not sell, exchange, transfer, or publicly disclose your personal information for commercial purposes.
